The next thing I want you to practice is your directional control. We’re gonna start off with the drone again facing away from you pretend you’re at the camera and it’s facing towards the trees here.

So I’m, going to turn myself to orient myself with the drone, so we’re gonna go over a couple of the controls with the drone, so with the drone. The easy thing to remember is whichever way the camera is pointing that’s.

What the drone thinks is forward so, right now the camera is pointing towards the trees, so that’s where it’s, going to be considering what’s forward in order to move in that direction, it’S gonna be right, stick and up and it’s.

Gon na put the drone towards the trees right. Stick down. We’ll, bring it back. So what we’ll do. Is we’ll just test out some of those motions? So when the camera is facing that way, right stick up is going to send it towards the trees and then right, stick down is gonna bring it back from the trees right.

Stick to the right, as we know we’re facing this way in the drone is facing this way right. Stick right on one controller is gonna. Take the drone to the right and right stick to the left is going to bring the drone to the left, so this is with you and the drone facing the same way.

If we turn the drone around so now the drone is facing you. However, I’m still facing this way. We have to change our thought for how the right stick is going to make the drone behave. So again, I want to make it go towards the trees so using the right stick instead of pressing up on the right stick which is going to make it want to go forward in the direction of the cameras pointing I’m, going to go Down on the right stick and that’s, gonna send the camera or the drone, sorry towards the trees and then the opposite up on the right.
